Welcome to the official site of Peace Lutheran Church in Washington, DC.  We are excited to introduce you to our Peace Lutheran Church family through our website with the greater hope that we might personally greet you in our place of worship.  As an urban congregation in the northeast sector of our nation’s capital, we strive to empower and serve the diverse needs of a diverse people while giving praise, honor and glory to our Great and Almighty God, “Who makes all things possible” through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

We offer Sunday school every Sunday for all God’s Children.  We worship the Lord “in spirit and in truth.”  With one worship service at 10:30 am. We have two worship service formats, (1) the Urban Contemporary worship service is on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays and (2) the Traditional worship service on the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays.  On the 5^th Sunday, we alternate between the two formats.  Holy Communion will be available at all worship services.
